Everyone is encouraged to participate in Earth Hour 2009. Turn all unnecessary lights off in your homes on Saturday, March 28, 2009, from 8:30pm to 9:30pm.
What does Earth Hour ask people to do?
At Home:
- Switch off unused lights.
- Switch unused appliances off
- Reduce use of hot water.
At Work:
- Replace light bulbs with energy efficient lights
- Turn down the thermostat
- Turn off lights and computers outside working hours
